In the sacred city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, where spirituality meets the Himalayas, countless stray dogs, cats, and street animals struggle to survive the biting winter cold. Without shelter or protection, many face nights of suffering, illness, and even death.

The Bichona Campaign, led by our Reviving Hummal Social Welfare Foundation, is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to stray dog care and community-driven compassion. Through this campaign, volunteers and local residents come together to craft and distribute handmade warm bedding — lovingly called “bichonas” — to provide comfort and protection for stray animals during harsh winters.

Each bichona is more than just fabric; it is a symbol of kindness, sustainability, and collective responsibility. By reusing donated materials and recycled fabrics, the campaign not only saves lives but also promotes eco-friendly animal care solutions. With the support of feeders, caretakers, and compassionate citizens, we ensure that stray animals in Rishikesh receive the warmth they deserve.
